Harvest Festival

September 5 & 6, 2026

Harvest Festival at the Reynolds Museum is a two-day, family focused celebration of Alberta's agricultural heritage.

See crops harvested using traditional steam and gasoline-powered threshing machines. Visitors can also watch swathing, combining, plowing, and tractor starting demonstrations. 

Experience fresh baked bread at our Bread Baking demonstrations, play carnival games and enjoy the petting zoo.

The event brings history to life through live demonstrations, hands-on activities and family fun creating an immersive experience for visitors of all ages.

Purchase Tickets

Tickets are available for purchase beginning July 1st.

Tickets include admission to our Harvest Festival activities on the grounds, the Reynolds Museum Main Gallery and Aviation Gallery.

Note: Experience Alberta's History Passes will not be sold at Admissions during special events.

  • View the modern John Deere equipment display from Horizon Ag & Turf
  • Watch tractor starting demonstrations
  • Get a free tractor ride on a 1914 Rumely Steam Traction Engine
  • Play carnival games and win prizes in the Family Fun Zone
  • Visit your animal friends in the petting zoo
  • Enjoy visiting our selection of food trucks or Museum restaurant

  • Leave your pets at home. Identified service dogs are permitted in the Museum buildings.

Volunteer

Bread Bakers

  • Demonstrate how to make bread and distribute samples to visitors. We provide on-site training. It is a great way to learn the art of bread making. Make it a family affair, bring a team and bake together!

Hospitality Hosts

  • Help distribute healthy snacks, lunch and beverages for the volunteers and staff.

Information Hosts

  • Greet visitors and answer general questions about the Museum and event activities.

Hangar Hosts

  • Greet visitors and answer general questions about the Aviation Display.

Gallery Hosts

  • Interact with visitors, provide information and directions, and ensure visitors are aware of the rules.
